01 · Field documentation

Ask AI about the job information you already collect

CompanyCam’s AI connection lets supported assistants work with project records, photos and comments. It’s in beta, so access and supported actions can change.

Read-only access lets you look up information without giving the assistant permission to change job records.

Why it matters

Crews already take photos and leave notes. A useful project recap could help the office prepare the next step without chasing the same information again.

Worth trying

Choose one completed job. Ask for a recap and locate the photos needed for the quote or closeout. Check every important detail against the original records. Measure preparation time and missing or incorrect details.

Canadian availability and cost

CompanyCam lists Core, Crew and Scale on its connection page, but beta eligibility depends on the account, role and AI tool. Confirm Canadian account access, plan requirements and the full cost in the account before upgrading. Public software pricing is in US dollars.

02 · Roofing and exterior sales

Show homeowners the options on their own home

Renoworks Pro can turn EagleView measurement reports into exterior design presentations with roofing, siding, trim and colour options. Shareable design links let homeowners revisit the choices after the appointment.

This is an existing tool highlighted in the October 21 briefing, not a product launched that week.

Why it matters

Some estimate conversations slow down while customers try to picture the finished work. A visual could make those choices easier to discuss and keep the follow-up focused.

Worth trying

Test a small group of suitable exterior estimates. Record design preparation time, the number of revisions and how long customers take to decide. Compare with similar estimates using your usual process. Don’t assume the vendor’s sales claims will apply to your shop.

Canadian availability and cost

Renoworks is based in Calgary. EagleView is a documented integration. Get a written quote confirming Canadian service coverage, currency, users, measurement-report charges and the product catalogues you need before buying.

A useful starting point

If your crew already uses CompanyCam, start with one read-only project recap. If you sell roofing or exterior work, try one homeowner presentation. The useful result is a clearer handoff or an easier decision with less staff time, not simply another piece of software.
